Jeff Koons
The artist behind Balloon Dog, five monumental sculptures in mirror-polished stainless steel.
Between 1994 and 2000, Jeff Koons produced five unique monumental Balloon Dogs in mirror-polished stainless steel: Blue, Magenta, Yellow, Orange and Red. In November 2013, Balloon Dog (Orange) sold at Christie's New York for $58.4 million, at the time the highest price ever paid at auction for a work by a living artist.
