Born in Nice in 1968, Fred Allard founded the fashion e-concept store Vitrines Parisiennes before turning to art at 40. Working in the tradition of the École de Nice, he seals handbags, sneakers and other icons of consumer culture in transparent resin, in series such as the Paper Bags, the Minaudières and the Roller Bags. His workshop is in Saint-Laurent-du-Var and his gallery in Nice.
